Cottage Grove Cemetery
Off 70th St./Co. Rd. 22 (Old Cottage Grove)

This cemetery was established in 1856 and is significant for the artistic value of its old gravestones and for its landscape design that exemplifies the Rural Cemetery Movement. The caretaker’s shed is believed to be all that survives of the Cottage Grove Lyceum Hall, an important pioneer era social institution founded in 1855.
