Cowell House

Early settler Otis Voss Cowell (sometimes spelled Colwell) and his wife Mary, who resided here
until about 1909, built this handsome Greek Revival style cottage. The 1862 frame house incorporates the one-room
hewn log cabin built by pioneer William R. Brown in about 1854.
