Healy House
10287 E. Pt. Douglas Rd.
Originally constructed as a simple farm dwelling in circa 1881, this house was rebuilt in the Tudor Revival style in
1916 as the country home of St. Paul businessman John Healy, Sr. It is an important work by St. Paul architect
Samuel Bartlett, who also designed some of the old lodge buildings at Glacial National Park. The historic Hope
Glen Farm property sits in a secluded hollow at the mouth of the Cottage Grove Ravine and includes a large
timber frame barn and several other interesting outbuildings in addition to the main house.
