Bus service to downtown St. Paul, Minneapolis, and other metropolitan areas is provided by Metro Transit, the region's principal transit service, and First Transit under contract with the Metropolitan Council.
Dial-a-Ride service, called Transit Link, is also available to residents. The local service operates much like taxi service, using vans and minibuses to provide transit in areas where regular route service is not available. You must call in advance to make a reservation.
Specialized transportation services are provided for seniors and disabled persons by Metro Mobility. Completion of an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) application is required for disabled persons.
