Are you having issues in using the City of Cottage Grove web site? Below is a list of some answers that may help you. If you cannot find the information that you need, please contact the City at info@cottage-grove.org.

The Navigation Links at the top of the pages is "Blinking"
The Disk Cleanup Window This is caused because your "cache" for your web browser is full. To clean out your browser's cache, go to My Computer and right-click on your C:> drive. Select the Properties from the pull down list that appears. In the window that pops up, select Disk Cleanup. Make sure Temporary Internet Files is checked for one of the types of files to delete. Click OK.

The Use of .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) Files
For many of the applications, minutes and maps posted on the site, we are using the .pdf document format, which requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software to access. Most computers already have this software installed. If you are not able to access these files, it means that you need to download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Finding Specific Files/Information
Do to the many services that the City provides, at times people may have difficulty finding exactly the information that they may be looking for. We recommend that you use our search feature or City Info A to Z page to assist in your search.

Printing Pages of the Site
We recommend that you set your print left and print right margins to 0.5" for the printing of the site. To do this in Internet Explorer, please go to File --> Page Setup and enter 0.5" for both the left and right margins. Pages of the site should print correctly with the 0.5" margins in portrait layout.

Cottage Grove's City Ordinanaces are available on-line. Throughout the site, we have linked to specific locations in the City Code that relates to the content of that page.
