Arbor Day

The City of Cottage Grove is sponsoring an Arbor Day Event to promote local parks, tree planting and environmental awareness.   It will be held at Highlands Park, off 70th Street and Idsen Avenue South.  Nurseries and landscaping companies will be available to sell trees, flowers, and shrubs as well as answer questions about maintenance and lawn care.  There will be booths promoting buckthorn removal and upcoming park improvements. The first 100 Cottage Grove residents will receive a free Maple Tree. Limit one per household.  Residents will also have the opportunity to explore Highlands Park and participate in educational programs for both adults and children. Come rain or shine.
