2008 Summer Softball Leagues

There will be a softball managers meeting on April 17,2008, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.

**ATTENTION LEAGUE MANAGERS**

The last day for rosters to be turned in will be Wednesday, June 25 by 4:30 p.m. to the Recreation Department office located in City Hall. If rosters are not turned in your team will not be eligible to play in post season tournaments.

The Recreation Dept.  offers a variety of Adult Softball Leagues; games are held at the Lamar Softball Complex in Cottage Grove.  Weekday game times are from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and weekend game times are from 1:00-4:00 p.m. 

All league fees  include umpires, field usage, maintenance, and one new softball per game.  League champions will receive a regional tournament berth or cash award, trophy, and league shirts.  In addition to league fees, a team will be assessed $50 if your roster has 4 or more non-residents on it.  Non-Resident fees must be paid at the same time as the league fees.

The Wednesday and Thursday Men's Leagues will play 22 games each and will play double-headers.  The Women's, Co-Ed League teams, and Monday Mens D teams will play 16 games.  All games begin last week in April.  For more information call 651-458-3400. 

Returning teams will have until February 25th, 2008 to secure a spot, after this date leagues will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  Full payment is due at time of registration.
