COTTAGE GROVE ICE ARENA EXPANSION PROJECT
The City of Cottage Grove owns and operates the Cottage Grove Ice Arena located on the Park High School campus. The Cottage Grove Ice Arena plays host to the Park High School boys and girls hockey clubs, Cottage Grove Hockey Association, Cottage Grove Figure Skating Club and the Cottage Grove Skating School. With the growth of our community and the addition of a third high school within School District #833, the City of Cottage Grove is seeking to expand the existing facility to include a third sheet of ice, multiple locker rooms, meeting rooms, and expanded viewing areas. The project is currently in design phase. Below are current designs as of December of 2007.

Sponsorship and Donation Opportunities
This expanded facility is expected to meet the ice recreational needs of Cottage Grove and its surrounding communities. However, at a cost of over $6 million, the City of Cottage Grove and user groups of the ice arena have set out a fundraising campaign (follow this link for an informational flyer) to assist in reducing construction and ultimately bonding payments. Fundraising dollars will help to keep our ice activities affordable for all users. In return for contributions, the ice arena is offering a variety of advertising, sponsorship and donation programs listed in this brochure. If you decide to donate a puck or table, you can contact the ice arena or simply fill/mail out a Donation Form. Due to the details of advertising packages (set up, location, artwork, etc.), please call the ice arena to discuss participating in those opportunities and a staff member will be happy to start the process with you.
