Municipal Pool

The pool is located at the corner of 85th and Grange, west of Hwy 61 in Cottage Grove.

Built in 1960, the Cottage Grove Outdoor Municipal Pool was the Thompson Grove Country Club. It now serves as Cottage Grove's only outdoor aquatic facility. With a small wadding pool and a large lap swimming and diving well, this outdoor pool is one of a kind. There is a slide, diving board, and plenty of deck space to enjoy the nice afternoon sun. The Municipal Outdoor Pool also offers swimming lessons, open swim sessions, and rentals.

The Outdoor Municipal Pool will be operated by the Southeast Area YMCA in 2005. For information regarding swimming lessons, lap swim, pool rentals and open swim sessions please contact the Southeast Area YMCA at (651) 731-9507. During operating hourse you can also call the pool at (651) 458-5977.
