Hamlet Skatepark Rules
1. For skateboards or inline skates only.
2. For your protection, wear helmets, padding, gloves and proper shoes. NO sandals.
3. NO AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR or vandalism.
4. No glass! Dispose of litter and trash in the receptacles provided.
5. DO NOT move or alter ramps or equipment.
6. Benches, tables or anything other than is already provided by the City of Cottage Grove for ramps and jumps is
prohibited.
7. DO NOT proceed down ramp until the area ahead is clear.
8. PARENTS ARE WELCOME - Children under 12 years must be accompanied by legal guardian.
9. YOU are responsible for inspecting your skatepark before using it.
10. Inspect everything for vandalism or unsafe conditions before using equipment.
11. NO BIKES or motorized vehicles on skatepark facility.
12. The City of Cottage Grove is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
13. This is YOUR skatepark - please help keep it clean and safe.
14. This skatepark is a Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco free zone.

Skatepark
Park Address: 8883 Hamlet Road South (Hamlet Park)
Come and enjoy Cottage Grove's newest and only skatepark. It was built by TrueRide Inc. in
June of 2004. The Hamlet Skatepark is fully equipt with your wildest dreams in
mind. The skatepark was designed by youth skateboarders and the Recreation Department. The park includes an 18 foot
wide half-pipe, 12 foot wide quart-pipe, 12 foot wide bank with a planter box, 6 foot wide stairs with a rail
going down, 2 foot tall fun box with planters, and a 12 foot grind rail. All ramps are constructed with
Skatelite Pro surfaces.
The skatepark is only for skateboarders and in-line skaters, no bikes please, due to the limited
space. The Hamlet Skatepark is a free park for all ages so please be respectful to everyone utilizing this park.
Please do not alter ramps and equipment. All ramps have been placed strategically by professional skateboarders.
For your protection wear helmets, knee and elbow pads, gloves, and proper shoes, no sandals. No profanity
allowed.
Dispose of litter and trash in the receptacles provided. Please be respectful of the new equipment,
let's make it last for a long time. Call the Rec. Dept. at (651) 458-3400 if repairs are needed or if you have
questions.
