Winter Outdoor Skating Rinks
All warming houses are closed for the season.
The City of Cottage Grove has six outdoor ice skating rinks with supervised warming house facilities. The locations listed below have lighted hockey and/or general skating rinks.
Please call 458-3400 for more information if needed.
Policies and Procedures - Warming house sites will be closed when it is in the best interest and safety of the community. Situations where we may close the warming houses include:
- Warm temps have softened the ice
- Wind chill is -19 degrees or colder
- Heavy snowfall has not been cleared
Warming House Hours
- Monday - Friday - 4:00-9:00 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday - 10:00-9:00 p.m.
- No School Days - 2:00-9:00 p.m.
- Christmas Eve - Noon-4:00 p.m.
- New Years Eve & Day - Noon-4:00 p.m.
