Cottage Grove Police Department
The City of Cottage Grove Police is an eastern suburb of St. Paul/Minneapolis. It has a
population of over 34,000 residents and comprises both suburban residences and rural acreage.
The Director of Public Safety oversees 39 sworn full-time police officers,
and 5 community service officers, and 15 reserve officers.
The department is one of only 3 departments in the State of Minnesota to
operate a police based paramedic service.

The Mission of the Cottage Grove Police Department is to protect and serve with pride and honor.
