Neighborhood Crime Watch

Since the re-implementation of the Neighborhood Watch Program in 1993, the Cottage Grove Police Neighborhood Watch Program Department has established and trained 89 official Neighborhood Watch Blocks.  Currently there are 68 active Neighborhood Watch Blocks.

The primary purpose of the Neighborhood Watch Program is to rally, organize, and train citizens in improving their home security, enhancing their personal safety, and learning to immediately report suspicious activity occurring in their neighborhoods to the police. The Neighborhood Watch Program empowers citizens to take charge of their neighborhoods and to look out for one another.

Persons interested in obtaining information about the Neighborhood Watch program may contact the Community Affairs Officer Gail Griffith at (651) 458-6025.
