When you call 911 for a medical emergency, the Washington County Sheriff’s office answers the call. A team of dispatchers gathers and processes information from the caller and dispatches the appropriate medical resources.

The dispatcher from Washington County Sheriff will provide pre-arrival instructions over the phone to the caller and simultaneously relays this information to the responding EMS units.

Due to the system status of our paramedics, they can respond in a squad with full Advanced Life Support (ALS) gear very quickly.

The ambulance staffed by our duty crew and a fire-based Paramedic can get on scene in a matter of minutes to render care.

If you have questions or want additional information please call 651-458-2850.
